TGIF

It's my favorite day of the week. FRIDAY! Yippee.

I rode Ruby in to work this morning. The 6:00 a.m. temp was right at 58 degrees. They're calling for sunshine and afternoon temps up to 80. Now you're talking! I think it rained every day this week prior to today. And, it was cold. Whatever happened to those warm sunny May days of yesteryear? Global Warming???? Don't make me laugh!

I'm still ramping up for my motorcycle trip this summer. I'm thinking about gettting one of those "netbook" thingies to take along so that I can post to my new best friend "bloggy" updates about my trip. My boss gave me some information today about an HP mini notebook that's available from Verizon Wireless. I'll check that out. Yesterday I went on the internet and got some info about a Samsung netbook that Consumer Reports rated as the highest of all the ones they tested. This weekend I'm gonna try and do some more research to help narrow down my choices.

Well, I better go for now.

Later.

Start of my day

I'm back at it. Still trying to familiarize myself with this new tool.

I'm hoping there is a blank line just above this one (I'm testing out the formatting). It's a dreary, rainy morning and playing around with the "bloggy thing" is a good way to get the brain cells working...that and my coffee.

Gotta go. Bye!

Second Post

Here is a picture of my baby...

I wonder if there is a limit to the content I'm allowed to put in this posting. I think I'll keep writing till I can at least see any obvious problems.

I started a new paragraph and now I'm just looking at the picture and thinking...gee, I wish I was out riding again. This picture was taken last summer and is at Table Rock Lake near Branson, Mo. The weather was pretty darn good for most of that trip. Hot and sunny...just the way I like it. Got to see good country and good friends on the trip.

Now I'm planning a trip for THIS summer that will take me up to Seattle and then down the Pacific Coast Highway to LA. Part of the trip I'll be riding with my brother Kerry and his wife Judy. Can't wait for that!

Gotta go. Bye!

Initial Post

Greetings! Well, I just set up my blog and wanted to log in and post something to it right away. So, this is the equivalent to "testing 1, 2, 3".
